My name is Don McIntyre and I teach guitar from my studio in Bridge of Allan, Scotland. A few years back, when living in Dunblane, I developed dunblaneguitar.com with a view to teaching guitar as a ‘family friendly’ alternative to playing live. I now have over 23 students of varying ages and abilities, from folk fans who want to play a little James Taylor to metal heads aspiring to shred like Paul Gilbert. So although I do still take on new students, this site is intended to be more of a forum where I can post about my approach to teaching and occasionally moan about the lack of 80’s metal on Radio 6.

    • Andrea – apologies for the *very* late reply, I had a full set of students when I created the site – you may well have found a tutor by now. Feel free to give me a call on 07958 563003.

  3. I used to know a guy from Limekilns called Donald McIntyre, but he didn’t have grey hair and a beard….played pretty good guitar, though.
